This is not surprising and i say so because most people, men and women have different levels of insecurities. Most people even tend to cast their insecurities unto others making it seem like they are not the ones with the problem that its actually you.

My dad would always say that there is a limit to what you can take from an individual and if you love that person, you shouldn't have to tolerate the person but find a reasonable compromise which is mutual.

So my friend Hadid and i were really close back in the day and we kinda fell in love. Hadid had real hard because i was his first girlfriend. I loved his innocent love so much that i literally did anything to make him happy. Now Hadid knew all of this and exploited it. I on the other hand, realised much later but still loved him.

I toned it down a notch with the emotions and he became the king of insecurities. He would question me day in and out on my feelings for him. He knee i cared deeply for him but he just couldn't handle the fact that i was not showing it as much as i used to.

He would send me messages with brain melting questions and facts that he obviously imagined and would expect me to answer and state why i was noy behaving a certain way and i should prove i cared for him like i used to.

It was physically draining and just like you, i had enough and i disappeared. Changed my number, job, location, the works. You cannot make someone believe you love them or feel a certain way about you. Its for them to see and realise for themselves.

But trust me, not many of them do and thats not your fault and neither is it your responsibility to fix that. Its a mutual relationship. You do your part and if thats not enough, walk away. You are definitely more than enough for yourself and also for someone elsd out there.
