Contento de traer para la comunidad musical de HIVE como lo es MUSIC esta entrega número 05 del cómo yo he entendido la armonía musical, centrada en desentrañar los secretos de los acordes séptimas, enfocándonos en el caso de los acordes disminuidos y semi-disminuidos, los cuales tienen aplicaciones importantes al momento de hacer nuestros acompañamientos con los instrumentos armónicos, en mi caso, utilizo la guitarra y el piano para ilustrarte cada uno de estos acordes que surgen del abordaje de la escala de Do Mayor, y su relativo menor La en sus versiones eólica, armónica y melódica.

Glad to bring to the musical community of HIVE as it is MUSIC this delivery number 05 of how I have understood the musical harmony, focused on unraveling the secrets of the seventh chords, focusing on the case of diminished and semi-diminished chords, which have important applications at the moment of making our accompaniments with harmonic instruments, in my case, I use the guitar and the piano to illustrate each one of these chords that arise from the approach of the C Major scale, and its relative minor A in its Aeolian, harmonic and melodic versions.

Después de esta necesaria introducción, entremos en la temática que nos ocupa. Tenemos que de la escala de Do mayor, al formar la tétrada en el séptimo grado, es decir, teniendo como tónica la nota Si, surge precisamente el acorde de Si Disminuido (B°), caracterizado porque entre la tónica Si y el séptimo grado en relación a la misma como lo es La Bemol (A b) o Sol Sostenido (G#), existe una séptima disminuida, caracterizada porque hay una distancia tonal de 4.5 tonos, acotando que una séptima menor hay una distancia tonal de 5 tonos y en una séptima mayor una distancia tonal de 5.5 tonos.

After this necessary introduction, let's get into the subject that concerns us. We have that from the C major scale, when forming the tetrad in the seventh degree, that is to say, having as tonic the note B, arises precisely the B diminished chord (B°), characterized because between the tonic B and the seventh degree in relation to it as it is A flat (A b) or G sharp (G#), exists a diminished seventh, characterized because there is a tonal distance of 4. 5 tones, noting that in a minor seventh there is a tonal distance of 5 tones and in a major seventh a tonal distance of 5.5 tones

En el abordaje de la escala La menor eólica, surge el acorde Si Semi-Disminuido representado por Bm7(b5); este acorde a diferencia del anterior, tiene una séptima menor entre la tónica Si (B) y su séptimo grado La (A), haciendo esta nota de forma natural para que se de dicha séptima menor, es decir, existe una distancia tonal de 5 tonos. Te invito a que realices a modo de ejercicio estos cálculos, en las entregas anteriores estos concepto de tercera menor y mayor, quinta menor y mayor, séptima mayor y menor, se abordan didácticamente.

In the approach of the A minor Aeolian scale, the Semi-Diminished B chord represented by Bm7(b5) arises; this chord, unlike the previous one, has a minor seventh between the tonic B (B) and its seventh degree A (A), making this note in a natural way so that this minor seventh is given, that is to say, there is a tonal distance of 5 tones. Ahora bien, pasando al caso La Menor Armónico, también surge el Bm7(b5) y un G#° (Sol sostenido Disminuido), cuya filosofía de construcción es idéntica al B° (Si Disminuido) explicada anteriormente, resaltando siempre la Séptima Disminuida que surge entre la tónica de Sol Sostenido (G#) y Fa (F), notas entre las que hay una distancia tonal de 4.5 tonos.

Now, moving on to the case of the Harmonic A Minor, there is also the Bm7(b5) and a G#° (G sharp Diminished), whose construction philosophy is identical to the B° (B Diminished) explained above, always highlighting the Diminished Seventh that arises between the tonic of G sharp (G#) and F (F), notes between which there is a tonal distance of 4.5 tones.

Por otro lado en el caso La Menor Melódico surge G#m7(b5) es decir Sol Sostenido Semi-Disminuido, el cual a diferencia del explicado anteriormente tenemos que la nota Fa debe ser con sostenido, formando así con respecto a la tónica de G# una séptima menor.

On the other hand, in the case of the Melodic A Minor, G#m7(b5) arises, i.e. G Sharp Semi-Diminished G, which unlike the one explained above, the F note must be sharp, thus forming a minor seventh with respect to the tonic of G#.

Por último el caso de La Menor Melódico nos permite obtener una F#m7 (b5), es decir, Fa Sostenido Semi-Disminuido, en la imagen que sigue se explica la construcción de la tétrada, lo importante que hay que tener claro en estos casos es la séptima menor que surge entre la tónica Fa# (F#) y su séptimo grado que es la nota Mi (E) .

Finally, the case of A Minor Melodic allows us to obtain an F#m7 (b5), that is, F sharp Semi-Diminished, in the image below the construction of the tetrad is explained, the important thing to be clear in these cases is the minor seventh that arises between the tonic F# (F#) and its seventh degree which is the note E (E).
